I had the warhammer tune on and switched to the 600qr tune because of shift flares, since switching to the 600qr i could not stand to drive my truck to even do a trans relearn, shift flares like crazy. Is ******* doing revised tunes or anything? truck is a 2015 and has 15,000 miles on it.

I would suggest downloading the regular 400 tune. Drive it a few miles and see how it shifts. Then go strait to the 600 regular and see how it shifts.

It has appeared that some download the stock file (no start or drive) then re-download the "pick your HP level" file and alleviate the issue of shifting.

Worth a shot anyways.

Trying to figure out if there are any 16 trucks out there running any spar tan tunes that had lockup before 4th? I can get lockup in 3rd with tow haul, but I'd like lockup in 3rd all the time. That's running sotf warhammer. Tried my qr, they're the same. Any ideas?

Can't believe I waited over 3 months to load the raised shift Warhammer. It's freakin awesome. Way nicer driving around my city sized neighborhood with 45mph speed limits everywhere.

Is your throttle touchy with the QR tune?

Nope and never has been. I have one of those dream trucks to tune. Load it up and it does what they say it will. Never had a weird throttle, shifting or anything else. I consider myself pretty lucky.

Nice, drove Notnebs truck with QR. acted like a 7.3 with an insane touchy pedal. Didn't Like it at all

I really want to tune to get rid of the pedal delay but don't want to lose warranty. Seriously considering the weight loss program for the new 16 to get rid of the bs exhaust but can't decide between a ez lynk or ndash. I did a lot of diy tuning on the 6.4 with mcc and liked the idea of the on screen tuning with Spartaaan but I heard the ez lynk might start a tuning software so I'm not sure what I do. Any suggestions?

Hope to get my tunes early next week. Couple questions:
1) It looks like you install the the SOFT, then load tunes, then without starting truck remove the EGR & *** assembly, install plates & pipe then start, correct?
2) Does the SOFT need to begin in a certain position?
3) When can you change tunes via the knob?
4) Can I assume the latest updates will come with the tunes?

I would install sotf. Install tunes, then start the truck and make sure it runs, but don't dive it like that, and has no codes before removing the crap. The last thing you want is to remove it all and then realize you have an issue with your tunes. Pretty sure you can start with the switch in any position. If you have a problem with the switch it will throw a code and default to the lowest setting.

Haven't heard any release time for OST. Mine doesn't have it, but I was assured that I would get it. If I had it to do over, think I'd go ez lynk. I like the idea of a dedicated monitor/programmer, but it sounds like ez lynk is where it's all going to end up. With spar tan not selling devices any more, I wonder how much support we'll get. Probably not an issue, but it's in the back of my mind.

I heard Gdp released sotf with a switch like Spartaaan. So I'm considering that. Might not seem like a huge deal but I really want a tune that gets rid of the pedal lag. Anyone know if other tuners get rid of that other than Spartaaan?
