Watching Ben Gollons truck hit the wall at TS last year is what makes me wanna make sure everything is right. I know his wasn't a suspension issue, but I would be devastated if something like that happened.
Get or borrow some 4 corner scales they are a great tool to set up weight distribution.
absolutely.
The lightning even with adding tons of weight with the driver in the truck
Building brackets to hold tractor weights and 1/2" plate steel so the truck would make weight
You still have that pic of the scales when they lightning was weighed?
You took that picture on your phone homey

Awesome work. How much, if any, weight was saved with the four-link/coilover backhalfed setup. Can you do one to a 4x4 truck as easy or is it mainly a 2wd thing?
It's been done. I forgot the name of that Chevy that runs a 4wd 2000hp reg cab that's in the 8s....

And if it gets a fiberglass front clip some day..... What are the weight restrictions in the class it was made to run in?
I will be amazed if ms misery gets down the track straight too. Sooo much ***ing power and that set up is going to be rough.
I would really like for it to be under 5k lbs but 5k is probably more realisticPro street I think which 4500lb unless your at an outlaw race like TS which was 4900lb. That chassis if done right should take anything a 6.4 could throw at it no problem.
