Watching Ben Gollons truck hit the wall at TS last year is what makes me wanna make sure everything is right. I know his wasn't a suspension issue, but I would be devastated if something like that happened.

Get or borrow some 4 corner scales they are a great tool to set up weight distribution.

Corner scales are awesome. You can measure everything to your hearts content and make it perfect - toss it on a set of scales and figure out how far off you really are. LOL I have a big rig set in the shop - they only can get you within 10 lbs - but I can put 20K lbs on each corner and still read it!

Awesome work. How much, if any, weight was saved with the four-link/coilover backhalfed setup. Can you do one to a 4x4 truck as easy or is it mainly a 2wd thing?

It's been done. I forgot the name of that Chevy that runs a 4wd 2000hp reg cab that's in the 8s....

we had a target weight of 5000 with driver with fiberglass doors, and back half. stroked ligtning is 5280 with steel doors and 200lb driver. the back half and tubs cut a TON of weight out of that back end.

that is her.. likely to never get down the track straight. and i believe it is built to run high 6's.

And if it gets a fiberglass front clip some day..... What are the weight restrictions in the class it was made to run in?
I will be amazed if ms misery gets down the track straight too. Sooo much ***ing power and that set up is going to be rough.

Pro street I think which 4500lb unless your at an outlaw race like TS which was 4900lb. That chassis if done right should take anything a 6.4 could throw at it no problem.

I was referring to the ms missery when commenting on the power and the set up. Misery just looks over powered.
I think Mike has a way better set up to handle what he can throw at it.
5000lbs or less should be easily attainable especially with a front clip.
