I need ball joints. Scratch that, I need everything. I am tired of all the play in the front end. There's not much, but I want it to feel new. Who makes a kit that includes ball joints, adj. track bar, drag link, etc?

I'm looking to replace every single bar and joint on the front end. Thanks!

just go to the parts store and order the stuff. Assuming you wont need wheel bearings, you will probably spend around $500 for everything. Your steering gear box is also probably worn down as well so even with all new front end parts, you will still have slop in the wheel. A new gear box is around $250 i think. Unless you can tighten the gear lash nut enough to get rid of the play

the tire club.com hs xrf ball joints for 100 a set. They seemed to hold up well on my truck.

As far as tie rods and drag links, moog stuff blows. Didnt seem to hold up worth a damn. thetireclub.com also has a complete front end kit. not sure about quality.

I don't want parts store stuff on my truck, though. That's the problem.

I've driven probably close to 10. Mostly 7.3s and 6.0s. One 6.7 450... all were sloppy. One 6.0 had me correcting it constantly. I guess you get used to it though of course.

Are all PSDs like this? Some more, some less I imagine.

My truck has zero slop in the steering. If there is slop, somethings worn out.

I couldn't get the tire club page you guys mentioned to load is that the only place that sells the xrf stuff? Is it that much better than moog? Whenever I put the lowering kit on my truck I plan on replacing as many bushings, tie rods, etc that I can to get my truck to driving as close to new as well

My 2000 had sloppy steering because I replaced every front end piece except the track bar and steering box.

My moms excursion with a 7.3 we put a redhead box in, and the thing is tight as ballz. Most of the front end is original ford with 180k on it.

I've put ball joints in it, and maybe a tie rod. Goes to show you when your anal and baby a vehicle it lasts. My old man treats that damn thing like a child.
