I am going to look at an 09 Ford F-250 6.4L Powerstroke Lariat with 72K miles in the next couple days. Trying to do my homework now. Its a SCSB Black 4x4 Fx4 Lariat with Black leather inside.

Features include:
Power Heated Seats
Power Mirrors
Back up camera
6-CD changer
Ford Subwoofer
20" Factory Rims
33" all Terrain Factory Tires
Weather Tech floor mats
Fresh Service
All Ford service intervals completed
Clean title in hand

My questions are..

1. What do you think its worth?
2. What do i need to look for or check?

I know i need to get the VIN for carfax and oasis. Its an 09 so i shouldn't have to worry as much as 08 job 1 right?

I cant remember now but i might be able to get ahold of a scan gauge or dashdaq to scan, what do i need to look for? Trans slip etc.

I guess it is 100% stock and never modded.

He did say that the dual air on the pass side doesn't blow as cold as the driver side and ford quoted him $420.00 for that part and he has part # but passed on buying it.

Also said he is 2nd owner, has had it over a year and 1/2 but wants a Crewcab 7.3 longbed. It has maybe a 2 " rip or opening in seat leather from the 1st owner that slides in and out. Also maybe a couple little scratches in the bed but cant see them from over 6 ft. Not sure haven't seen, just what he has told me. Seems like an up front no BS guy.

He was asking 27,600 but i think he said for $25,000 he would let it go...

Also Job 1 stuff on 08's this is an 09 so not to worried about it.

He was asking 26,700 and said he would let it go for 25,000 without me even talking about price. Think there is much room to work?

Also can anyone help me put a check list together of things to review?

NADA or KBB it. 25 doesn't sound bad man. Esp with the upgrades. Sucks about the seat. I'm just not a big fan of ripped leather and would get it patched or fixed ASAP.... Check 4wd. Make sure it works in Manual and AUTO. Probably wont feel any crazy tranny problems with a stock truck, unless its really F'd. Check the oil cap for milky substance, pull the dip stick or level obviously and smell of diesel, with the DPF still intact. Rust under the bed, or rear wheel wells. I know I bought my CCSB black, camel interior, nav/audio. No sunroof, back up cam, rear sensors, or gas pedal adjustment. Truck was spotless with 76k for 29k, from a ford dealer. Obviously an extended cab Id expect a little less, but 25 doesnt sound bad

Thanks, 24k sounds perfect to me with some of the things going on with the truck.

Spark plugs are #1 on list
