Want rear captain chairs

I want to do a converstion in my 2005 king ranch so i have front and rear captain chairs. Anyone have a how to? lol:thumbsup:

I have wanted to do this ever sense I bought my truck just could never find a set that the owner want a arm and a leg for. From what I could find if you have all the factory brackets all the mounting point are there you just need to cut holes in the carpet. Do you already have the seats?

I have seen a few folks straight swap

I myself had my new BPD radiator sitting i my back seat area as the seats were folded up just today since my bed is set up for tools and covers = no cargp

also a mini fridge to a job last week and a 42" flat screen the week before ..

that wouldn't work with the captains

also I have been forced to sleep in my truck ( No not a mad wife )

and that bench folded down wasn't bad

just sumptin to think about plus u loose 1 occupant

I found some 2002 lariat captian chairs i assume they will fit

Find someone with captains chairs, unbolt your bench seat, bolt the captains chairs in... I swapped someone my bench for his captains chairs a few months ago. The rear captains chairs are mounted to a big bracket and it all bolts in as one unit. It actually only uses 4 mounting points compared to the 6 the bench uses so you will have some holes in your carpet that are visible. Also, they are super annoying because you can no longer put anything of any size in the backseat but, you do have storage between the seats and behind the console, in the console, and behind the seats. For me, the awesome factor of captains chairs far outweighs the practicality of the bench seat lol

I loved the look of my captain chairs but would rather have the full bench next time.

I agree with the guys who prefer the bench because it is so handy for hauling when folded. Have also hauled some big stuff on the 60% part and still had a third passenger.
I had 4 captains in my 03 Lariat 'LE' and I admit the coolness factor was definitely there!

The captains are nice if you dont.ever have to haul kids. Mine was a four bucket truck until three years ago. We dont use my truck anymore so I should have.kept them. Now I have a solid bench. Its stupid!

If you have two kids, leave the capt chairs. It all bolts right up.

Ya if you have more then 2 kids the captains blow. My gf has 2 nephews and a niece and it was kinda a pain to have such a big truck that could only haul around 4 people.
