hey guys. well its inspection time again and i need to cover up the ford rot on the bed. i was wondering if you guys could help me out. im looking for some up close pics of fender flares on the front fender and the bed. im mostly interested if you have the ford street flares or the ford oe style flares from bushwacker. im trying to see how far up the body lines they go. if i can get away with the street flares i will but i feel im going to need the oe style. thanks for your help on this. its greatly appreciated.

Bed = 1500ish flares = 700 painted on the high side for paint. I liked the oe style because they went up higher and still used some of the style lines. None of my rot comes very far last the spot where the line is. I was hoping to get away with the smaller ones like joe has but I guess I'm gonna be getting the bushwhacker oe style. And I'm getting new tires. Getting every last bit out of these though. We can't all be fortunate enough to find sets of tires for $800 joe. :poke:

It's only gotten that that bad because assholes at my school like to get punched in the face for putting their fingers through it. This is nothing compared to a lot of trucks around here. Most are completely rotted not just spots.

I'd rather pay 1500 for a bed than 800 for a bandaid but that's me. Plenty of tires out there for less than 800 btw

For a set of the size joe runs? For some reason I don't think there are. Bed will come soon. Bandaid now. Surgery later.

I don't see how you people live with that crap. I am super anal about touching up scratches, and flip sht over door dings. If a bed is $1500, it's a better investment to just buy the bed, and suck up the cost. Even if it doesn't match, than to spend money on flares to mask it til you can buy the bed. Just my .02.

If you can't afford to do it right the first time, you sure as hell can't afford to do it again.
