Had something similar happen in my 99 f150 with the 5.4L. The mechanic was able to thread it for a larger threaded spark plug. I think he said it was something out of a Bronco... Regardless I didn't have it long enough to need to replace the 7 and 1 spark plugs so I didn't worry too much about... -

That's a good looking smoker. I had been trying to figure out a cheap replacement for my rusting out firebox (that requires a fan to maintain 200F) on my cheap grill/offset smoker. The CCV filter lives in this weird limbo of is it or isn't it a maintenance item. Ford doesn't give an interval for the box (for certain the box one without the filter). Ford got away from the filtered design and went back to the baffled box. Either way they can still gum up/plug up and cause... -

Just got my oil change in. Overall both new and used the Schaeffer's felt thinner than the T6 both at 5w40. I feel ya. Depending on what turbo you have under the hood, Pusher might be a good option. H&S intake manifold
No personal experience on this item, but looks to be more focused on bling IMO. From what I can gather they took their upper intake from their piping kit and added a couple pieces for it to work with the stock lower intake manifold. Inside diameter may be larger but to me the flow looks worse...- 6.7Bison

Truck looks good! I've been curious about the piping kit from pusher (my truck ain't new enough for it). How are you liking it? Any issues with install or check engine lights? Door strikers = best $100 I've spent on this truck
I know it's only a temporary fix, but I used electrical tape and wrapped it around the striker where the door latches. Has eliminated door rattle for the last few months now. I figure I can do this a few times while trying to wait and see if the strikers come down to a more reasonable price.- 6.7Bison

I have two and a half semi-educated guesses. To bring down exhaust heat, to bring down an engine bay hot spot, or a bit of both.
