Emission based tunes vs. Non emission tunes

If you have a straight pipe on a 6.4 and had an off road tuner with the filter off option, (sorry, trying to avoid the ***), and were to get a custom tune that is written for filter on, does it make a difference? Can you still choose to have the filter off and the tune perform the same?

Ok, so. I bought a used LW 9625EOR. It is Unlocked. I plug it into my 08 6.4 and go to "Program". I select the "Pre-loaded" tunes option. I do not have custom tunes. I was just going to use the lowest canned tune for now. Then it goes through all the info, keep pushing the round button. Then it...

Can a straight piece of exhaust be added from the down pipe to right after the muffler held with clamps? Rather do this then spend 200+ on a system. (cheap ass) :gun:

Ok, so if I make a left or right slow turn and come straight, the steering starts to jerk to the left or right. Gets to the point where I'm holding the steering wheel with a death grip trying to straighten it back up! What really scares me is my wife drives this truck from time to time as well...

Bought a 08 6.4 and learning more everyday! Now, if I can figure out the way to get a tuner with custom toons after the EPA garbage!
