I’m going with the non “race cover” so I don’t have to change my intake and compressor outlet setup around because from what I have been told the big “race cover” doesn’t make...

That’s crazy for a brand new charger. This 471 has been very faithful and honestly does well I’m pretty hard on it (try my best to stay out of it)but I want a charger that starts spool up at least around 1700rpm

I can tell the difference, it’s cheap insurance all the big diesels use the Fluidampr from oem. I would never pay the price of a new one though. I bought mine never been installed for 300$

Wish I had the money. I know 6.4s are dangerous from the factory but it sounds like you took care of that

Recently had an injector take out a cylinder. In search of a shortblock. Basically crank rods and piston rotating assembly. Can put new lifters and a cam together. Thank y’all

As title says. Fresh rebuild 360 bearings never ran with new bearings . It is a airwerks s366sx 74/80 turbine.91 turbine housing . $450

I used a ford gasket for the lpop ( ford had one on hand ) thanks to whoever that was . Used a m16-2.0 x70mm bolt and oem washer to sinch the Fluidampr down. The hardest part of the job was getting the dagum fan threaded back onto the water pump. I used moly lube engine assembly on the crank hub...

Also read that a longer crank bolt was needed

Did y’all reuse the little crank keeper for the damper? Read somewhere the original pin had cut edges and it needs to be a solid square cut keeper in order for it to secure the Fluidampr tight

10/4 my buddy I will definitely find it and get it to you. Backed out of installing today because of the visual inspection of the o ring issue . I just hope the oem gasket will be compatible with the melling

I actually applied black moly engine build lube religiously on both sides of the rotors and housing for startup. Don’t need any scaring from the jump
