For reference I have a 2017 F350 4x4 SRW CC short bed 6.7. Truck is all stock. After the stock Michelin I ran a set of 35x12.5R20 Toyo AT on the stock rims. F rated tire and was a bit harsh. Just put a set of 37x12.50R20 Nitto Terra Grappler E rated on stock rims and ride is better than it was...
Not a big fan of the new grills. No personality and reminds me of a mid-level F150. Maybe better in person but I like the current grill a lot more. 10 speed is intriguing. Will be interesting to see how it all performs.
Couple questions regarding the BDX and 2017+:
Does it allow for tire and axle gear adjustments (beyond 35”, etc)?
Can you simply load a tune and disconnect the device? I don’t really want any displays or anything staying plugged in if possible.
I’ve been patiently waiting for this platform to develop. Tire size / speedo calibration being one thing I would really like to see. Was told today they are working on that. I hope they also offer different gear calibration going forward but that did not sound like it is in the works yet.

Personally don't really like two tone seats or painted bumpers on a truck. But when I have to debate whether or not to buy another well appointed Lariat, spring for a Platinum or maybe a Limited when reality is a stripped XL would work just fine......life is great.
Honest question, not being a smart ass. How does tranny tuning alone make the tranny any safer with a 150hp or 150+hp tune? Wouldn't it need mechanical upgrades? Higher line pressures or torque converter behavior? Interested in a 100 or maybe 150hp tune eventually but love the way the tranny...
Not sure what you're used to but for most of the rest of the world a stock '17 PSD is an extremely powerful truck. I've owned late model Cummins 6.7 and earlier gen 6.7 Ford PSD. The '17 PSD is noticeably more powerful towing heavy loads imo and has better staying power at speed. Unloaded it's...
lol young grasshopper....been there done that and got the three car seats across the back to prove it. I'm just trying to find a secret stash hole or place to stuff assorted body parts in a pinch :gethim:
Does the rear Weather Tech digital cut mat for the 2017 SD crew flow down to go under the door like the front mats or is there a lip all the way around to trip over? That was my only complaint about the rear mat on previous truck. Front mats are designed nice where they flow out to door...
Y'all talking about the 60% side or the 40% side? I found the strap to pull down the small side pretty easy, access the jack, etc. Big side's got me scratchin.
I believe the F350 still has higher spring rate and the 11,500 gvwr vs F250 high capacity which is still 10k max GVWR. When I priced them out it was less than $100 more for the F350. Seemed like no brainer.
