With aftermarket tuning, the exhaust brake is a beast. I couldnt live without it while driving in switchbacks and vastly changing elevations in mountainous terrains. Big difference in just downshifting vs. Downshifting with exhaust back pressure.

Words of wisdom! Nothing wrong with a little modifications. But for those that need top notch reliability it's best to keep it in the FoMoCo realm of mods. Upgrade to a 15+ turbo, pump, and tuning. Be done!
