Coolant puking when sct tunes are flashed under no load.
Head gaskets are leaking from the higher cylinder pressure. Mine did the same thing after putting tunes on it. Fairly common on the 6.0. You can still drive it but I would take it easy on it and gather up the parts to do studs with oem gaskets and egr delete. -
Nasty grinding noise, what to look for?
Could be your exhaust hitting your spinning driveshaft when you let off the throttle and everything torques in the opposite direction. Happened on my truck. I would definately look at it.- ckyguy68

victor reinz gaskets
My VR gaskets failed after 6,000 miles of moderate abuse. I mean ya, the truck saw the dunes, the drap stip, trailers, and lots of WOT runs, but they should have lasted longer. anyone whos used RCD's black onyx head gaskets chime in
Put Victor Reinz Black Onyx gaskets on mine in May, they were blown by October, 7000 miles later. The heads were checked and within .003". If you've had a transmission problem please read.
If the direct clutches were garbage why would the problem be so damn intermittent. Like I said, this happened once, then it was fine for a week, now its acting up again. If the direct clutches were bad would it be able to make perfect shifts in 4x4 with the extreme race tune? -

F/S 6.0 OEM Head Bolts BRAND NEW
