So i recently installed an efuel kit from Marty's diesel and am looking to remove my factory fuel lines from the truck. Is there a proper way to go about doing this? underneath and on the front of the engine are they connected to the engine in any way? Or can i just cut them and yank them out...

    1997 7.3 Efuel help

Pump is running but I’m not sure if it’s pumping fuel. I checked first by cracking the line that comes off the pump and goes to the engine while the pump was on and no fuel is coming out of the pump. Then I took a can of diesel and ran the line that comes from the tank selector valve into the...

    1997 7.3 Efuel help

Hey all, i just installed the Marty’s 875 efuel kit and was having difficulty getting it started last night, which I believe was a result of a glow plug relay that had a broken terminal on the top, so I replaced that and it finally started up this morning. The issue I’m having now is the truck...

    Cold weather fuel leak

Hey all, with this cold weather that’s recently hit south Texas I’ve noticed a quite sizable fuel leak developing underneath my truck, a leak that was not present with warmer weather. I looked all over yesterday in the valley and underneath trying to trace it back to the source but with no luck...

    Bad wheel bearing?

Hey all, I've been having an issue with my front driver (what appears to be) wheel on my 1997 F250 2wd and I want to make sure its a bad wheel bearing before I tear it all apart. Firstly, at low speeds on the highway and especially in traffic the truck shakes decently bad, but for the most part...

OBS Bench Seat to Captain's Chairs questions

Sorry for the confusion, I have the 40/20/40 seat and just finished up swapping over the captains chairs. As was previously stated all i had to do was transfer the sliders over and it bolted right up. I dont know why I didnt figure that out in the first place.

OBS Bench Seat to Captain's Chairs questions

Y'all are right and i dont know how I overlooked the tracks. Started working on it last night and they swap over perfectly. I also had to swap over the recliner levers from the 40/20/40 seats. There are already 3 pre-drilled holes in the seat pan for the center console as well since the...

OBS Bench Seat to Captain's Chairs questions

Any idea what kind of fabrication is involved? Looks to me that I would need to drill two new holes per seat on the inside, and the outside bolts would be retained from the 40/20/40

OBS Bench Seat to Captain's Chairs questions

Hey all, I recently scooped up a set of captain's chairs and center console from an extended cab f150 from the junkyard. I have a crew cab with the bench seat/flip console currently in my truck. Upon inspection I noticed that the bench uses two bolts per side and the seats are bolted to a pan...

1997 7.3 Fuel Gauge Problem With Rear Tank

Thanks for the input, I need to get in there and pull the whole sending unit and check out what the issue is, i'm hoping its the same problem with the float as you had, but i'm sure with my luck it'll be something nice and expensive, or i'll be messing with wires. Not looking forward to dropping...

1997 7.3 Fuel Gauge Problem With Rear Tank

Hello all, new member to this forum and first time poster. Recently purchased a 1997 obs 7.3 and it has become my new daily driver, and so far i'm loving it! However I'm having an issue with my fuel gauge fluctuating or going past the full mark when i'm switched to the rear tank. The front tank...
