Deeper sound

Just got an 03 6.0 excursion and Wanting to put an exhaust on it. from looking around I don’t see any kits that have a 4” dp or go up to a 5” exhaust. I was curious as to if a f250/350 exhaust kit works on the excursion or not?

All very valid points and I agree that it's really hard to determine that and no motor is bulletproofed(just what everyone calls it or ford oem solution kit). I was told I have a 1 yr warranty as well. I drove this truck very easy as well if I hot rodded it or race/ pulled it and was pushing it hard then I could understand a little bit. But that wasn't the case at all. Everything I've added or done to the truck was only to get better mpg out of it.

That's what I was afraid of, just want to make sure I'm not being unreasonable before going that route. Figured I'd get input from others first then call them back and try to get this settled before getting a attorney..

I piddle and tried some things and finally replaced the fan clutch, since I need to replace it I went ahead a got the adapter and installed a 97 7.3 mechanical fan clutch. Mainly Bc I hail a heavier but and my jeep and in Ky we have a lot of hills and they say it helps keep temps down a lot...

So basically I need to get my temps up safely watching then see if my fan cycle does anything.

Would fan duty cycle on my edge tell me if my fan clutch is engaging? If so its at 0% and my ect is 196 and eot is 198, egt 406 at a stop and its 60 degrees out and heat off. Fan duty cycle has left 0% the whole time while even driving?

Yes heads were sent to a shop to be checked and they were good.

It had arp studs oem gaskets, oem cooler, coolant filter, full egr ******, blue spring kit. Temps under a load stay very close, usually around 2-6 degrees depending on how I'm driving. When I fill the coolant to just below minimum line it does fine for normal driving but if I get on it then it...
