Also icp would do exactly like your saying. My issue ended being a bad cover. I had replaced the cover with a new Ford cover and the oil passage coming from the lpop to the res was restricted due to bad casting. Im sure the cover is not your issue since it ran fine all these years but the issue...

Not saying this is your issue but i had the same thing happen to me years ago. Turned out on a hard pull it would empty the oil res. Wot truck would fall on its face. If i stayed in the throttle it would die out like a dead pedal for 2-3 seconds then all of a sudden come back to life.

Yep. Its the one with the wire going to the AIH. I know it sounds crazy as hell. My buddies dually had the same issue.

It didn't and still don't make sense to me about the intake heater causing no start cause my 250 don't even have one and it starts fine. But for whatever reason that's what was keeping mine from starting.

I would still try the bridging the post on the intake heater solenoid and see if it starts. I had this same issue on my dually I replaced everything related to glow plugs with new ford parts. Everything was checking out fine just like his. I crossed that heater solenoid while the wait to start...

When you turn key on to heat plugs go up front and take a screw driver and bridge the post on the air intake heater solenoid for about 15 sec then try to start it. 3 trucks around my area are doing this. For some reason it won't send signal to the heater solenoid.

Jon really is a good guy and very talented. I think his business grew way too fast and he could never find a single mechanic that he could trust to do a job. One man can only do so much. I hate to hear he is going thru such a hard time. I've tried to get in touch with him today but no luck...

A couple of them would clean up but a couple wouldn't. So I just figured I'd get all new.

Was going thru my heads this evening, putting in some beehive springs, and lapping the valves. all of my exhaust valves have bad pitting in them. So my question is are there any vendors on here that sell valves. Just looking to go back with stock valves.
