It will be the sync port and the cigarette lighter. Next to your trailer brake and aux switches if you are confused as to which ones I mean.

There is a little slot under the middle of the cigarette lighter where a small screw driver will fit. Just pry it out from there.

Yep. My wood one got all scratched up and I pulled it out and put in a silver one to much the rest of the trim. I don't know the part number I just went to a junk yard and got one out of a rolled truck. The dash piece looked perfect and didn't cost much.

I know this isn't the 6.4 section but I had a similar issue with my AE scanner back a few years ago. Once plugged it the truck would do crazy things and blink all the dash lights then die if running. I ended updating the scanner to a newer version. They told me the problem was something on the...

I have had mine no limit intake on for a while and drive down rough roads and I've never noticed any rubbing on anything. I think the rubber is strong enough that it holds it pretty well.
