305/50 is a 32" tire 305/55 is 33". I think 305/55 is the best height for stock or lowered trucks
Here was my truck with 5.4 springs and no rear block. Needed the bottom spring removed to sit level. It was 1/2" high in the rear because of it.

yes they are way better. if you look up those fleet guard filters that were posted the flow rates are horrible especially for the water separator. and the 2micron is only 5micron absolute and 50% at 2
