I don't know what the deal was but the nut was tight and it still slipped out some ways or I never pushed it in as far as it would go but it went further in and socked it down good and it works perfectly. This guy is an idiot.
It won't budge though. It's as if it crimped itself to the probe. I'll take it easy next time I'm under there with a pliers and see if I can't get it loose.
One dumb question for you guys. I noticed on my sensor that there was a washer thing that I don't know the name of that looks like it crushes down against the probe to keep it in place, so is this a one time thing where I cannot make any adjustments as to how far in or out I want the tip?
I did a decent pull on the freeway with about 40lbs of boost and the Edge showed 1200 and my ISSPRO STILL didn't get up to 800. With the HD300 tune on it has to be impossible . Is the probe on the drivers side unused when the emissions are turned off? IF both are the same theoretically I could...
This week I installed a triple gauge pillar and 3 gauges from ISSPRO. One is my pyrometer. I have been noticing something odd in my opinion and I wanted to ask all of you what you thought about it.
First off I do not know where the factory EGT probe on my truck is which is an 08 it looks like...
I know I am kind of off topic somewhat by asking this but for those who clean cotton and debris from coolers, radiator etc. What is the best way to get everything out? I don't have my own compressor to blow it out and it would take forever for me to do it at work. Maybe that is the best way?
So should I go with the old if it aint broke don't fix it? Something tells me I should take the front cover off and inspect and/or replace it due to the cavitation issue these have. Has there even been a write up about how to do this with the cab on and what should be purchased and done while...
My truck started leaking from somewhere on the front last Wednesday and I can't tell where it is coming from. From I'm thinking it is either the water pump or the front cover. Is there still a high probability of the front cover leaking even when the truck is emissions-less? Also my degas bottle...
I'd like to see a little more pull and a lot louder of a sound. These turbos aren't loud enough for my liking and I am not planning on doing anything fuel except an AirDog II. When it comes time to pull the cab I will be doing all sorts of goodies but was hoping one of the 2 options would be good.
I have been toying around with the idea of getting batmowheels but should I be worried about doing this now? With some of you guys talking about getting them balanced, can I not buy them and stick them in?
