VGT actuator problems

I have a 08 F350 6.4, and the VGT actuator does not go thru a self test when the ignition is KOEO. I can move the arm and there is nothing stopping its movement, when i have the KOEO i can also move the arm fully and the actuator will start to work. the questions i have is 1: is there a fuse...

VGT actuator

after i move the arm while KOEO, and crank the engine, i cant move the arm any more. as long as i move the arm while in KOEO the system runs like it should.

VGT actuator

i did that last week and still the same problem, the only way the actuator works is if i move the arm thru its complete movement while the key is on and engine is off. thanks

Friend needs help with 6.4 puking coolant

i've been through a round of leaks, three weeks ago i replaced the outlet heater hose, last week i replaced the upper radiator hose, and now i believe the radiator is starting to leak. i cant see it yet but i can smell it around the left side of the radiator. what luck.................

Water Separator Issue

sounds like you may have some water/gel balls in the unit. take the filter out, and put your hand up into the filter housing, and you should feel some gel and trash in it. if so just rake it out. now i did this and sprayed some fuel into it just to wash out anything else.

5r110 direct clutch solenoid

well i was going by the info on the H&S blackmaxx display when it shifts. and i am assuming as always the right side is the passengers side of the truck.

does anyone have a diagram of which solenoid it is on the valve body? the bad thing is, i just changed the fluid/filter 7,000 miles ago, and now i have to take the pan off again...............:biggun:

I think my solenoid is going bad, shifts into rev hard, also 3-4-5 shifts hard. for those who have replaced it where did you by it from? i have searched many sites but only found two site that sell the direct clutch solenoid. 2008 F350 6.4, H&S Blackmaxx tuner with KEM tunes. thanks for your...
