If you like tuning your own truck, then I would recommend using HP Tuners. You can adjust anything you like on gas vehicles so I assume it should be the same for diesels.

What fuel pump(s) are you running and is your truck and automatic or standard? Also if you tell me what part of the country you are in I can help with some good shops for dump tuning.

Not trying to hijack the thread, but my Dad has a 12 Lariat with basic ****** intake exhaust and spar+an 120 horsepower file, he has almost 185,000 miles and he beats the living $h!t out of it everyday and his maintenance isn’t the best, oil around 10-11K miles and fuel filters every 15k miles...

With the SCT programmer, does it tell you the current tune status, like what’s on the truck, Ex. Stock, Race, etc because of it can do that than there must be a connection of some sort to the PCM. Also you could b having a bad connection between the obd port and the PCM that has also happened to...

Did u try having Ford load a stock file?

My advice is completely ditch the viper alarm and try again. My mustang had the same problem with the no crank and as soon as I took off the alarm system completely it cranked up fine.

Before spar+an went out they had a 100 rwhp file for it, but it seems like everyone stole it from them, a company all out performance (I think that’s the name of the company) made a turbo kit and an air intake for them but I’m not sure the actual numbers it put down. Besides that I’m not too...
