First off, great post with your thoughts and ideas! I have a 7.3 with an auto and one with a manual and would prefer the manual with a 66mm turbo any day of the week because I can always keep the rpm’s where I want them. As you know since having both the bigger sized turbos require a vastly...
It seems like to me there aren’t a lot of guys running the 363 that I have read about that are using injectors that size, lots of stock superduty through ‘stage 1.5’ sized injectors. I’d be curious how you’d like it with that sized injectors. I’m running a stage 2 kc (63/73) with 238/80s with...
Google search is a great resource for this one if you haven't already. Something along the lines of '05+ axle swap obs'
Frankthetank had one of the most detailed threads about the swap

You've got to remember that a stock obs is putting down ~180 rwhp if you're lucky..... you can't have very high expectations. They are flat out slow. You'll notice a difference with a ts chip but its not going to be anything thats going to put you back in your seat.
am I missing something? Where did he compare a gasser to a diesel??
CMN.. a 285/75/16 is basically a 33" tall tire.
What is your primary use for the pickup?
Is the 7k minus the cost of wheels are tires paying someone else to do it? I had just over 2k in my d60 swap, that includes everything it needed to be driving down the road.
Looking for a set of 200/30 hybrids. I would also consider 160/30's or the various sizes considered as stage IIs. I have a set of AA cores if they would be needed. Located in Idaho.
