    I drive a big truck with a junk dd15 in it. I always put Mobil delvac 15-40 in The semi. Can that be used in my 6.0? If not what is your recommendation? I run motor craft now after some trouble with regular rotella on my last 6.0. Thanks guys

    Battery or alternator problem?

    Literally just had this happen on my 05, I replaced batteries cause one was leaking. Light stayed on so I had got a deal on a 200amp alternator. Replaced alternator and all is now well.

    New 200amp alternator

    I didn't realize how a bad alternator would affect overall performance. I noticed ultra severe turbo lag where it was a bear to spool. Got this new alternator on and I'm scared to put my foot to the floor. It's much faster than my last 6.0.

    I already planned to manhandle that ****. It looked easy to replace but didn't want to bite off more than I can chew. Thanks for the input. New one gets put on as soon as I get home
