He’s a great buddy of mine, so I shouldn’t have any issues. Plus I’m paying him to wash it every month lol. My guess is people who do this in general don’t keep the cars very long. Or if they do they take exceptional care of them.

He’s exactly right.
I just did my first mit wash and with the foam cannon and blow drying it took me less than 30 minuets. And looks like it was just waxed. I even do the two bucket method with the mitts.
It cleans way easier.

I wouldn’t doo it too soon, unless you’re towing heavy. 15k burnt my LV at 20k miles, which I was pretty annoyed about. But if you’re not beating it, just go 30k. It’s not a bad fluid, but I don’t think it’s designed like the TES295 spec fluids are.

Hey,
1150 and LV are comparable. LV is slightly lower viscosity.
The more of the 1150 you get in and LV our the happier these trans are. Most of my customers buy a pail, and do two drain and fills. Sone do the filter if there’s enough mikes on it.
If you Order through me personally I can help...
More or less this is correct. I’ll add that oil film clearance between the bearing and the journal, or most any film, is between 1 and 6 um. So the full flow Filtration doesn’t really capture much of the particles that are responsible for long term bearing wear. I like to think about it this...
