Aftermarket tachometer
Maybe a scan gauge or something like that hooked to the OBDII connector? Would get you tach as well as other channels if they were ever needed.- jschildm

97’ F-250 PSD Fuel tank issues
I would guess the float has a pin hole and filled with fluid so it sinks. It could also be an electrical issue from with the sending unit or wiring. You'll probably have to drop the tank if its the float. You can check the resistance of the sending unit to make sure its within the normal range...- jschildm

P24AF Code - Particulate Matter Sensor Code
I believe its been driven enough at this point that it would have came back if it was going to and it has not. It seems like its only required to change the sensor and no programming or calibrating is required. -

Quick follow-up. I finally got this sensor changed out. I believe the PN I ended up getting from the dealership was JC3Z-5L239-C. I should double check the box. It was quite a bit more expensive from my local dealer than some of the online ford stores (Tasca, etc), but I was able to show them... -
P1728 - Transmission Slip Fault
I took some pictures with the inspection cover off. The TC is rusty so I am not sure if that means it has been hot and then burnt the paint off, or if it hasn't been hot enough discolor. I drove the truck a little and the TC locked up just fine now, it wasn't enough to get up to temp or pulling...- jschildm

Thanks for the responses. I'll see if i have time this weekend to pull the inspection cover and try and look at slip and converter clutch duty cycle. Just to confirm, both of these channels will be available with an E4OD? I will also probably start shopping for TC, thanks for the mention of...- jschildm

No one even has a suggestion for a brand of stock/a little better than stock torque converter? @Mark Kovalsky is there a way to check solenoids or anything to troubleshoot, or do I just need to get a torque converter?- jschildm

I have cleared the code and it comes back at the next regen so the check engine light stays on. I am planning to buy a new sensor, but I am curious if anyone knows whether this needs to be programmed/calibrated after installation or not. If so, is this something I can do with Forscan? I think... -

2008 F-350 slight vibration
Auto hubs can stop functioning correctly, but usually they stay unlocked no matter what, though I have heard of them rarely getting stuck on. Could try spinning the drivelines with the wheels on the ground to confirm they are both actually unlocked, but likely not a the issue. That was my next...- jschildm

developed some steering play
I know some also replace with a borgeson steering shaft that isn't susceptible to some of this type of play. I haven't done it myself yet, but the steering has gotten looser, so likely will in the future.- jschildm

A1000 Fuel pump alternatives
