    When it downshifts and blows smoke every where is he making any boost? Could have a cracked up pipe. Also check all the boots under the hood connecting inter cooler pipes. If he has a bad leak you can climb underneath and there will be soot by where it is leaking.

    WATER PUMP OR NO?
