Well I ended up going with the Zone 4" radius arm kit. The install was a breeze and all the new parts are very high quality. Everything fit into place as it should and it looks great. It rides considerably better than stock suspension and it sits perfectly level. Overall, I'm very pleased with...
I realize that there's a difference in quality. I guess I'm just used to half ton lifts that are all close to the same price. If I have to spend extra for quality then that's what I'll do. I don't half-ass any of my builds.
I wouldn't still be asking about other lifts if I was determined to go my own way lol I'm just having trouble grasping why these other kits are so much more expensive.
I'm all about good ride quality, but it's pretty hard to justify the cost. Is there not a middle of the road lift? It seems like all anyone recommends is icon.
So you're saying instead of buying a complete kit, I should buy a bunch of different parts and spend twice as much for slightly better ride quality.
Check that, 3-4 times as much money.
Already did a 5" flo pro exhaust, s&b intake, egr delete, and h&s mini maxx. Next I plan on doing a 4.5" lift, 22x12 fuel maverick's (black and chrome), and 35x12.50 trail grapplers. Then color match the bumpers
Does the 4.5" kit actually raise the truck 4.5"? I've seen several guys say that it actually raises the truck almost 6". I just don't want it to be too tall to fit in my garage.
Hey all, I've been doing a lot of research on how I want to set up my 09 f250 FX4. I want to run 22x12's (-44 offset) with 35's. I'm wondering if I can clear them with a 3" lift or if I'll need to go with a 4.5" lift. Either way I plan on going with a Rough Country kit. I've always had good luck...
