White smoke doesn't smell sweet like coolant but rather rich of oil or possibly diesel.

Yeah I have the new hose now and will be installing it. And I will add that to the list of to do's to check out.

Will an injector test point me to the right one? I'm leaki g coolant pretty steady out of the egr delete little orange hose. So that's the weak link before the degas bottle. Once I get the truck to where I can work on it I will drain the oil and see.

No check engine light. Have yet to scan it. And not sure how to do a compression test. I haven't done a pressure test on the Degas bottle yet.

That's what I figured after looking into what it actually did. It being stuck closed would actually cause something similar to my problem?

Put it back in and it ran good hit high rpms in the turbo but that was a short drive. I noticed the problem in higher gears at a faster speed so we will see.
