hopping and vibration
Does it go away above 45? Did you keep your driveline balanced/inline. You can incorrectly install a joint off 90* throwing them out of balance which creates a vibration.- Lethalthreat7.3

You have an electrical issue. Whtch your tach. You can see it bounce at idle as well as when you sethigh idle. Try holding the throttle at 1700-1800 steady for a minute. Watch your tach. Purchase AE so you can diagnose and fix it yourself. There are ALOT of smart experienced people here that will help but you need to know what the PCM is seeing to fix it correctly. Don't just throw parts at it.- Lethalthreat7.3

Disassemble the MFS carefully. Pretty easy just 4 screws. There is a slide in there that has yo align with the lever. I used 1000grit to clean it as you want it cleaned/polished without scratches. Blue smoke on cold start...
This is what I was taught way back in the 80's. Batteries have 6 cells on a 12v battery. Each one, under optimal conditions is rated for 2.3v which is equal to 13.8v. At 5% over you are at 14.49. At 10% over you come to 15.18v. It's been awhile but I believe Ford doesn't recommend over 14.5v...- Lethalthreat7.3
