Dt360 upgrades

I used a comp cam 924 spring and Manton Pushrods my machine shop just sent the dimensions of an original and they made thicker ones.

I also used the DT power steering pump, I did however put in a flow control after I blew up my first hydro boost unit.

I am running A/C I used a standen compressor from a Cummins M11 it is a V belt compressor. I made a plate in top of the plate where the air compressor would go.You can just see it here to the left

The Serp DT466 dampner will fit the DT360, I messed with it for a while , but ended up with the Ag balancer cause it was quicker and my project was dragging on far to long. . There is a fellow on PS nation that did the serp set up successfully.

Yes forged Aluminum as where the old pistons I removed. Ive in framed a few DT360 and all had Aluminum pistons , Also the Maxforce/DT466 that I have in framed where Aluminum as well. Steel pistons sound expensive.

The IH kit I used had Mahle forged pistons in it. But that kit was bought back in 2006.

Just enough to remove the valve cover lol . It was more of a feel thing than an exact measurement but no more than a couple of inches.

Fire wall was pushed back , Trans is a heavily modded E40D using a stafford adapter plate I am running electric fans. Still a long way to go, but hey its only been a year and a half lol
