Hi guys, my battery voltage while driving is showing around 13.1 volts... Alternator was replaced this morning as it went out on way to work... New batteries last month. Does anybody know what could cause this? Thanks in advance.

So when testing wires for voltage at connector, it is not putting out anything. So now my question is should I just replace the harness? Or is there something else that might need to be checked? Thanks.

Thanks for the info, yes it is a mess... I know it should ne two wires, I'm trying to figure out if the red wire is someones overlay, or if it should go somewhere else? The connector that they used to replace it is an aftermarket 3 wire, and they have the middle wire used instead of the the one...

Hey guys, I purchased this truck and the previous owner changed connector at alternator, well after going over wiring diagram, I see how the wires need to be connected, with the exception of this red wire that they have hooked up. Anybody know where this should go? Thanks!!!
