Should have a set of Chevy mirrors to measure off tomorrow that I can then draw up files and have a few sets of plates for chevy mirrors too. 07 up mirrors.
I finally got some time to put some bondo in the welds and cover up the bear metal. I used white plasti dip for right now until I can get it warm enough to actually paint the door.
They are not angled upward much at all, no more than what they would be on a dodge. Its how the mirror is made, its mounted flush to the plate. I wanted them to match the body lines of the door, so thats how I mounted them. They are not angled up though when looking from the side.

Here is how they do going down the highway. This will hopefully answer questions. I am trying to be through as possible. I will have ae more plates cut and will work on a price for them for who wants to have perfect plates.
Thing about not welding a plate, is the mirror doesn't fit the body lines at all. To get the mirror mounted where it matches body lines you have to move it back and then you have to have a plate welded in.
ill have to do the bondo and paint once it warms up some. But here they are.
Ill try and get some better pictures tomorrow! The furthest forward bolt is hard to get to, had to make it a stud and put a nut on it, the other two bolts are visable from inside the truck and easily...
I am going to see how these ones mount and look. If it is what people like I can cut more. If not I can modify the plate a bit and then have them cut.
I got the one side tig welded in. Going to start the otherside after lunch.
Ill show what the wing window looks like from the inside open fully once I get it installed tomorrow completely.
I did cut a few extra sets while there.
Just slid on for alignment purposes.
More to come tommorrow!
I looked on them and there was no part number on them. They are on all 4 corners of the truck. I had to trim the two front ones on the inside so they didnt rub when turning.
