Anyone know what logic the ECM uses to determine oil level on a 2011 6.7? We have a truck that is showing the message constantly but from what I can find there is no level switch or sensor. Just the engine oil pressure switch is all I can find.
Duramax VGT on a 6.7 powerstroke. Never would have thought of that one, but I guess the upipes(or whatever they are called on a 6.7) are a pretty close fit.
It depends on the builder, but most shops will not warranty broken shafts or damage caused by a shaft letting go. If you could prove that a bearing siezed or something happened to the converter cause the shaft to break then you might have a case for warranty. If it was broken due to power or...
If you have never done it before, I would suggest splitting it up over two days. It should only take around 8-10 hours but it sucks royally working with the cab on.
Cobbs is about 30 minutes away from us. Performance machine, cobbs, rebel diesel performance, they are all the same. If he did not have daddy's money backing him he would have been gone a long time ago.
Sorry man, but those trucks don't have "cheetah" turbos on them. They may have a different compressor wheel stuffed in them, but there is nothing from Fleece on any of the three trucks. I pull against them often and they regularly put 20-30 feet on my stock turbo/injector duramax. They...
With a good tunable CR platform the 7.3 could make a lot more hp on stock parts since you can make power much higher in the rpm band. I would say that a stock long block with studs could live at 600 reliably as long as you tuned it correctly.
there is a serious cost factor to think about, you have to purchase a mini or black maxx then pay $199 for a license to tune it (I think that is right). That means for a tuner to make any money on their tunes it would probably cost $2000-$2500 for a setup.
We broke an input shaft about 30 ft. off the line during qualifying for pro-street. It shook the truck so hard the throttle pedal broke off the firewall.
We use AE everyday on Powerstrokes and Cummins both. I would not have anything else for a Powerstroke and it is pretty good on a cummins as well. Just remember that most things you need are in the actuations tab that is a little hard to find. For 6.0 injectors the power balance test is great.
