    That's exactly what I was told to do Both sides of the pedestal are plasma cut and warped they don't seal with just gaskets The kit Evan drove out to fix in Louisiana around the beginning of August I'm sure is the same way he said he had to take the kit off after install because it leaked...

    Cfd didn't install this kit I did but yes the only way they say and recommend to seal the pedestal is rtv the pedestal base Is not a flat plane and would leak with the factory gasket

    I never expected the motor to last long I was kinda hoping and expecting more than hours tho this isn't my first motor or even the second this was the 3rd factory motor this truck has had. I'm very hard on my trucks and will admit it before I do anything thing else I will address the motor
