What exhaust are you running? and have you had to smog your truck yet?

Yes its just a visual but I dont know where I would find a 5" dpf and cat

So here's my dilemma guys. I live in Southern Cali and due to its strict emission laws Im having to pay a guy to pass my smog checks every time its due. Im running a DPF and CAT delete exhaust system and would like to know if there is any other exhaust, other than stock, that would be compliant...

So what are my options?

I haven't updated in a while but I believe the 210 tow is the one that has the earliest lock and I already have that one. I would need a custom tune that would lock at about 25-30mph and they're telling me they're not doing custom tuning at the time. :shrug:

Water temp at the time was about 200 and outside temp 85. Coolers and fan are working because once my converter locks all my temps drop. So my question is since my tuner isn't offering custom tuning at the time, what are my options? Will regearing to 4.88 make a difference?

What tuner are you using to get it to lock at that mph?

I believe on the tune I was running it doesn't lock until 45mph. I did notice when I got up to that mph it would cool down but most of the way was slow speed.

Mainly 35-40mph and 2,000 RPM

Is there a tune that locks the converter at lower mph?

So once again took another trip to Sequoia National Park here in lovely CA and experienced the same problem as last time. Wasn't towing anything just a bed full of camping stuff. When going up 15 miles of steep slow pace roads my trans temp hit 230 :eek: so I pulled over and let them cool down...
