Can Ford install 3.73 gears in the 3.55 electronic locking differential? I went to 37s and would like to change out the gears. Using a gear/tire size calculator, it said I would need to go to a 3.85 (I think) to get the stock ratio back. 3.73s would be close enough. Thanks

Finally got a chance to go by the dealer to get speedo cal'd. They cannot program for 37s, they put in the hypertech module. I had them order one and will get it in once it arrives.

Correct. I think they said and don't quote me but for 37s you would enter 3.20. That's how they got rid of the check engine light. Not sure if they adjusted the tire size. I inquired about reprogramming at Sawgrass Ford in Sunrise FL the other day. They sell several Super Duties lifted with 38s...

Over on the 2017 forum @ford-trucks.com someone figured out how to do it with forscan. IIRC they have a spreadsheet that you data in and it tell you what gear ratio you should enter into forscan.

Picking up an 18 platinum 6.7 today. Thinking of the ready lift sst 3.5" and fox 2.0s. I travel quite a bit towing a bass boat. Cant decide on 22s and 37x12.5 or 20s and 35x12.5. The 35s just seem small in most of the pics. How much will the 37s kill my mileage over the 35s? Thanks

Have a 13 Platinum, last Sunday when I went to close the tailgate it seemed heavy. Is there any type of spring in the hinges that assists in opening/closing. Opened and closed it several times after and its definitely heavier. Thanks

Check big connector next to parking brake. When Mine does it I take my foot and move connector and it works for a few months. Same for the service advance trac.
