Can anyone confirm torque spec for glow plug.
Found 97 in. lb online and Haynes says 35 ft lb plus 55*.
I am more inline with the 97 in lb being correct.
New motor and trans, slowly going back together and redoing somethings when I have time. Now have to pull trans again and send back. Thought about trips but just need to get it back together as it is covering half my shop.
I did not read all this but I bought a set as I was putting the motor back together and I found out the stock ones were not true anymore. Did not know that but I suppose when Cody had truck getting compounds that pass side was changed to 16+. Anyway I got lucky and BD sold me the new pass side...
Sorry it is the exhaust manifolds. The small head studs at the top of the head outside the intake man/valve covers.
I don’t know what studs they are and don’t plan on even loosening them. This is a complete stage 3 long block. Same motor they just put in Jcain’s truck, both motors were in same...
I have been trying to get ahold of MidWest with no luck.
I started to put the manifolds on my motor and they are hitting the new head studs.
So is it common to shave the tips of the studs down to the nut or clearance the manifolds?
I think I would rather shave the studs. Anyone know what...
My problem is the cab is up on the lift. If I lower it down I don’t know that I can get in there to where I can see.
I question it because from all the research I have done I can’t just add power windows and such because the harness is different.
Guess worst case I could just make it work.
