IPR Valve pigtail

Thanks for all the help. I ordered the pigtail and IPR from diesel O-rings will install this weekend.

IPR Valve pigtail

The truck died while driving down the road. The only thing I can find is the IPR pigtail melted. I ran auto enginuity just showed low injection pressure.

Thanks I was told the IPR shorted out and that's what caused the pigtail to melt does that sound right.

IPR Valve pigtail

I have a 2003 7.3. While driving home at 70 mph the truck died towed it home thinking it was the oil pump. What I have found is the IPR Valve pigtail is melted where the wires go into the plug can anyone tell me what happened. Can I just change out the pigtail or is there more problems than this...

ok long time sense I've posted here is the deal. I checked the reservoir after the truck set for a long period 8 or 10 hours. The reservoir was empty before i tried to start can anyone help. Thanks

We'll I have a 2003 7.3 346000 miles. I'm having issues when starting the truck after sitting for several hours. The truck starts right up and runs for 3,4 seconds then stalls. I finally noticed the oil gage not coming up until truck stalls. My question is does the mechanical pump or the HPOP...

Hey Army I'm southwest of Houston working and need a good shop to work on my 7.3. I've developed a oil leak and don't have time to work on it. I think it's a sensor behind the turbo but don't have time to fix it. Thanks

Truck won't start Help

Ok thanks to everyone for the help. I finally looked at fuses closer and found the 30 amp starter fuse was blown. Changed it out and pow it starts. Again thanks to everyone for all the help

Truck won't start Help

I am having a hard time locating the starter relay it's not on the pass fender. I have new battery's and new starter I bought a new relay they sell one for the 2003 7.3 but I can't find it on the truck. What is the relay in front of the glow plug relay?
