2006 F-250 6.0 Power Stroke – Brakes Applying Themselves After Replacing Hydroboost & Master Cylinder
I had a very similar poblem. Ended up being the pushrod was too long. I had to make one a little shorter. Can't remember how much. Aftermarket tachometer
I actually don't know about an aftermarket one. I am sure someone makes one, digital or otherwise that will work with it. at one time I was going to put a PSD in a 86. I wanted to use the factory dash. I never got a chance to do it, but I was thinking, can I take the tach motor out of a PSD...- Tiha

Ford 7.3 Passenger Bank Dead
Have you tested fuel pressure someplace before the head? or Other head? That is too much pressure it would mechanically lock the injectors. -
2011 6.7 Issues to be concerned about. Is this a good deal??
Like 6.0 tech said. I don't remember all the details but there were some issues with the early 6.7 engines. Not everyone had problems, but they did occur more frequently in that year. -
E4od occasional slipping
Pan looks great. Also put a wrench on the valve body bolts make sure they are not loose. If the convertor drains back to the pan, it will usually still eventually pick up fluid and move. Does the problem only occur on cold start up? Or will it act up while driving?- Tiha

Extended cranking, fuel system tests.
I think my issue with it popping off was to do with the cheap return line I got. Had to try 2 or 3 times to get it to seat properly. I did finally get it to seal up. -

Certainly get the pan pulled and see what you can. I have heard of filters falling off. Also valve bodies coming loose.- Tiha

That was one of my worries was a hold down bolt. At the end of the day I am not sure if I was lucky having to do the CP4 twice or if I would have rather dealt with Broken bolts. LOL Anyway, awesome you got it going. Helicoils can work, threaded inserts are better. On longer holes like that I... -

My understanding is that an E4OD should move forward or backward without electronics. So that means you would have a loss of fluid pressure. Probably pull the pan and inspect. Maybe the filter is loose and it is sucking air? Or fluid is low?- Tiha

Door lock help!
Have to pull the door panel. Yes there is a pivot point on those lock rods. Crazy, I know there are a thousand pictures of it on the internet but can't seem to find one. Guess our stuff is getting too old.- Tiha

First time Engine Swap Questions
