That's exactly what I'm talking about. That's what I've always used in the past. I don't know that moving the hitch itself back is a great idea. I believe they also make offset necks for gooseneck trailers which would set the neck back. I'm not pulling an RV or 5er, just gooseneck trailers... -

Smaller tool box, bigger garage, etc... I had the b&w with offset ball on a 2012 crew cab short bed dodge and used it with great success. I'm sure someone has something out there that I just haven't found yet. -

Do they make such a thing? i have a 4" offset ball for a B&W turnover ball hitch and am looking for similar for the factory ford gooseneck hitch. The reason I need this is because I'm buying a new truck and the local dealer has found a truck that is exactly what I would order other than it has... -
