That's exactly what I'm talking about. That's what I've always used in the past. I don't know that moving the hitch itself back is a great idea. I believe they also make offset necks for gooseneck trailers which would set the neck back. I'm not pulling an RV or 5er, just gooseneck trailers...
Smaller tool box, bigger garage, etc... I had the b&w with offset ball on a 2012 crew cab short bed dodge and used it with great success. I'm sure someone has something out there that I just haven't found yet.
Do they make such a thing? i have a 4" offset ball for a B&W turnover ball hitch and am looking for similar for the factory ford gooseneck hitch. The reason I need this is because I'm buying a new truck and the local dealer has found a truck that is exactly what I would order other than it has...
