An awesome build with great attention to detail by PMF. The blue truck as well as three others had the first of the new 16" front and rear big brake kits I've produced as well. 16 inch Wilwood brakes install
The reason you have the clearance you do is that you have a TCE/Wiwood kit (the original) and not the newer factory kits being mentioned by the OP. The TCE kits use a different hat and caliper.
