Negative boost numbers

Ok. Found out something interesting. When I first noticed the negative boost reading, I was in Helena Montana which is at about 4500 ft above sea level. I live in Portland Oregon which is about 250 ft above sea level. On my drive back to Portland today, I noticed the gap between the two...

Negative boost numbers

I don't think I actually have negative boost because because my real boost gauge is reading correctly. But since my scan gauge is showing what the PCM is seeing from the map sensor, I would think a negative number may have some effect on how the truck runs.

I very rarely view boost thru my scan gauge, but yesterday morning I started the truck and it was reading -3.x psi boost at idle. My Isspro boost gauge is reading correctly. Both go up and down with normal driving like usual, just the scan gauge reading starts out as a negative number. I am...

Heater stuck blowing hot air

I found the actuator. Disconnected the wire harness, plugged it back in, now it works fine. I love fixes like that.

Heater stuck blowing hot air

What controls the temperature knob on the heating controls? No matter where I turn the temperature knob, it blows hot air. It has been sticking for a while, but if you go from hot to cold a couple of times, it would start to work. This morning, I could not get it to blow anything but hot air...

Terminator T500

Joey told me the performance of a t500 pump is very dependent upon what condition the pump was in before he does his mods. His mods will help a worn out pump work better, but his mods on a strong pump will yield the best performance gain. At least that is what he told me.

P127X codes

the injectors all sound crisp and the same. I probably need to do a thorough inspection of the harness. Since the codes were there before and after all of the new parts, it must be something that I have not replaced yet.

P127X codes

I have been trying to track down my P127X codes for a few months now and cannot seem to find the problem. Thus far, I have replaced injectors, UVCH's, and I replaced the IDM with one of Swamp's IDMs. I also have a black CPS. The truck does not run real rough, but it is not running as smooth...

Engine oil temp ranges??

Base on my scan gauge for both temp readings, my EOT runs 5-10 degrees below ECT, around 195-205 degrees for EOT
