Yup. Prep is key. I wash with just water (no soap), dry surface, wipe surface off with alcohol, then because paper towels leave lint, I wipe it off with a microfiber towel. There's lots of videos on YouTube about it. Don't start with the hardest pieces and you'll learn how the material acts...
