    You might make sure the thermostat ear didn’t slip out of the lip indention on the housing. I recently installed a set and actually had to bend the ears out a little so that it didn’t slip off the housing. If they do slip off it’ll act just like a thermostat is hung open.

    Easiest thing to do is to the remove the egr crossover pipe and put the block off plate directly on the passenger side up pipe. Then remove the bung for the ebp tube, drill and tap the plate and screw in the bung. Then bend the ebp tube so that it’ll bolt down on the top rearmost valve cover...

    Was the cab removed when the mechanic worked on it? The hpfp harness would not have been touched when replacing rockers or injector. Is the security light flashing when it cranks no start?

    Is the take off bed from the same year model truck? The grey or maybe white connector on the passenger side inner frame rail is different from year to year. Or maybe that connector isn’t plugged in? Seen this before when we attempted putting a 21 model bed on a 2017 truck. Caused exact same issues.

    I do know that it has the same symptoms in neutral as it does park. Can’t say I’ve actually look at range position data yet.

    Honestly haven’t checked. It seems like it’s gotta be something electrical. Because if the trans harness is unplugged it will fire and run. We have also swapped ipr valve.

    This one will run without maf plugged in. What’s strange is the warmer it seems to get the less it wants to act up. We let it idle with trans unplugged for awhile and then tried again with trans connected and it would actually stay running. Throttle it up hard and after coming back down to idle...
