2015 6.7 cummins 62,000 miles Truck came in with low rail pressure and would barely move under its own power. Rail pressure was 3500ish psi. Any kind of throttle input and rail pressure would drop below 1000 psi and truck would stumble and barely stay running. Checked fuel filters and there... -

Check rail pressure. Is there plenty of fuel in the tank? Had a truck towed in last week with 1/4 tank of fuel but the screen was broken off the bottom of the sending unit and it has sucked up some air. Check accelerator pedal too. There was a thread awhile back about something similar... -

After being pressurized that long it’s not uncommon for the injectors to leak through the spill port. Basically after 20 minutes the entire oil rail is empty and you’re getting air through the injector itself. If enough of the injectors are worn enough internally this can cause a no hot start... -

2012 turbo replacement

Metal in oil filter
How many miles on the oil? If you still have the filter cut the top and bottom off and inspect the paper part of the filter for metallic particles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
