    Calling all cummins experts

Don’t think any of the lines could be restricted. Literally happened in one night like flipping a switch. Truck idles fine. Even runs down the road fine. When returning to idle rail pressure is way to high. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Calling all cummins experts

2015 6.7 cummins 62,000 miles Truck came in with low rail pressure and would barely move under its own power. Rail pressure was 3500ish psi. Any kind of throttle input and rail pressure would drop below 1000 psi and truck would stumble and barely stay running. Checked fuel filters and there...

Clogged oil cooler or lucky dumba$$

Check for coolant leaks. Coolant doesn’t evaporate out of a closed system. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Keeps dying, no DTC's.

Check rail pressure. Is there plenty of fuel in the tank? Had a truck towed in last week with 1/4 tank of fuel but the screen was broken off the bottom of the sending unit and it has sucked up some air. Check accelerator pedal too. There was a thread awhile back about something similar...

leak test HPOP how far do you go???

After being pressurized that long it’s not uncommon for the injectors to leak through the spill port. Basically after 20 minutes the entire oil rail is empty and you’re getting air through the injector itself. If enough of the injectors are worn enough internally this can cause a no hot start...

    Water in fuel light random

You’re thinking for the exhaust message correct? Typically I pull the modules off with the filter but maybe I didn’t on that truck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Considered that but didn’t put eyes on them when the truck was here. Thought maybe they were getting ice or snow packed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Water in fuel light random

Got a customer with a 2014 6.7. Truck is deeleted with minimaxx. He works on the road and is currently in North Dakota working. He was home over thanksgiving and had us check out a water in fuel light that had intermittently been coming on. There’s also a service exhaust system message that...

    2012 turbo replacement

Probably won’t see much support for ats on this forum. Look into Midwest streetmax turbos or mpd non vgt budget kit. Or the 2015 retrofit kit would also be an option. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Metal in oil filter

How many miles on the oil? If you still have the filter cut the top and bottom off and inspect the paper part of the filter for metallic particles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
