At one time, there were stories of a %600 nozzle...... The idm also has a cycle speed limit, so no matter how fast the solenoid cycles, there is still that hurdle.- psduser1

International sets are the "best" replacement, but there are a couple guys around selling a bit better custom sets. Try riffraff diesel. -

That sucks. I'm waiting on a chip myself, we'll chip and pcm. Had a chip burned for this 02 ex I just bought, and there was a problem with them communicating, something involving the pats. Anyway, my parts have been there too long, waiting on the tech guy. Apparently he's out for hernia...- psduser1

One injector killed the whole bank? I'd run the truck for a couple heat cycles and make sure all the oil is burned off before doing anything else.- psduser1

Not saying your wrong, but 9k on the axle isn't exactly the same as 9k on the pin. Can you move the ball forward at all? That will help axle gross weight. What is the trailers gross weight, when towing? Can you shift any weight to behind the trailer axles? Does the 30k number represent what... -

Bluntly, sounds like you've got your money's worth out of this truck. If you want a competition trans, spend 45-6k on the guy of your choice, and whatever comes with it. That guy will set you up with a great converter. Or, buy a jasper, pay a shop to put it in, along with a converter, and...
