Truck Died Yesterday Morning
No my CCV was routed to the atmosphere. So the oil in my turbo on the compressor side through me off. Turned out the seal was leaking on the turbo and it went back to Garrett to fix. So it would smoke when I started it and eventually go away.- Layson

I am not familiar with that turbo, but with my 38R when the seal was going out it would smoke a bit. Only reason I figured it out was I installed a billet wheel. When I had the turbo apart I saw oil inside the compressor housing....- Layson

It is hard to tell, when it is real bad you can wiggle it. But it can be going out and you can't just wiggle it to figure it out. You might try having someone turn the steering wheel while you watch it....might see something?- Layson

I would post pictures but photobucket is down for maintenance. I have the OUO setup on my older truck. Mine works great and is setup with hydro assist. Lock to lock perfect. I also put about 1,000 miles on the OUO setup on a newer truck that was just the OUO stabilizer truss kit. Didn't...- Layson

Loud cab says you, no says I
I used the same stuff on my truck. Those first few times driving it after I did it I really noticed a difference.....now I get in it I am used to it and now it is loud again....LOL.... So I would like to do another layer....LOL I did notice a lot of improvement when I sound deadened above...- Layson

Transmission Jack for 4r100 R&R?
Typically we don't pull the transfer case. It balances fine under the pan. My friend used the harbor freight trans jack and did it all by himself twice....LOL... -
1st Ford/1st diesel!
Make sure they give you some kind of warranty on the engine.... it is too bad they couldn't have done some upgrades to it while it was torn apart....- Layson
