You can do headstuds one at a time. There's a right-up on here by BIGRPOWER (Mike) I'm not 100% sure I got the user name right. I did mine one at a time years ago. What a pain. Yo7 have to jack the engine up to get the rear bolt and and stud back in. The Turbo you have has the bigger of the...

    ‘10 6.4 rebuild

Nice. Should be good for a long time yet. I did notice on the build sheet there's no mention of head studs. Do you have the ability to monitor exhaust backpressure? Look for the tag on the turbo. Plus, on the turbine housing (exhaust side) right where it bolts to the up-pipes/pedestal there...

You definitely have a single turbo. That could account for some of the cold smoke. That things had a lot of work done to it. How many miles since the new motor?

Do you plan to run the pickup in the winter? What do you see for winter temperatures? Personally I would not delip the pistons if your gong to keep stock fuel, even up to 800 you shouldn't have a problem, unless your the kind of guy that is constantly mashing the pedal. I've never heard of a...

I would personally use coated maxxforce 7 pistons with billet rods. Run a set of KC drop in turbos. With the stock hpfp and injectors that will get you over 600 to the ground with the proper tuning. If you want more HP just add bigger injectors and a dual hpfp setup. Put a mild stage one cam...

What is your goal for horse power? What do you plan to use the pickup for? Putting 6.7 pistons in is for most folks a lot of money spent that was not needed.

Weird thought here. Are all the piston oil squirters good?

    7.3 LPOP Problem

Do you have a picture of the front cover where the oil pump sits? I lost oil pressure due to wear on the front cover. That gasket doesn't look to good. Haed to say if it wasn't sealing though by that picture. How's the oil pickup tube look? They have been known to crack. As mentioned above...

Okay. I guess he would have to purchase the 150 dollar Titan unlock to have access to tunes for aftermarket injectors. https://gopowerhungry.com/shop/hydra-chip-accessories/titan-unlock-for-hydra-chip/

Okay, it's a PHP Hydro chip, right? If so do you have access to the PHP tune library? @DEEZUZ really likes his TW tunes. He could give you an idea where to go from here.

Keep us posted! I'm sure it'll be a lot better after the air gets worked out of the system. Who's tunes are you going to run?
  16. Powerstroke Cowboy

    Ford 7.3 Passenger Bank Dead

Exactly, air in the system will keep it from running right. Get it out and put some miles on it. The more wide open the better. Get the air out and the oil in.

Have you Ohm tested the injectors? I seriously don't think this could be the problem. DTC will test your PCM for 55 bucks. Plus for another 25 they will mount it in a vehicle and test it there as well. You've tested the harness from the IDM to the injectors, right? I believe I've read you...
