ZF6 -650 rebuild and other things I've done on my early 99 7.3 F350
Nice wright up. Ford definitely could have used some better parts for the clutch setup. I just wanted to add that the aluminum bracket under the dash and the cross shaft that runs though it should be inspected. Most common is that the bushings wear out and the steel shaft eggs out the aluminum... -

Caliper mounting bracket bolts
Can you just remove a bolt from the opposite side and bring it with you to match? I checked price from ford on those bolts a couple years back and they were like $20 a piece. Might be cheaper from one of the dealers online. -

2002 gets puny after a minute... finally quit...
Did you see if it is throwing any codes for the cps? Had one with a bad spot on the TPS that did weird stuff like yours too. -

Im not sure on the zf5 2wd parking brake setup but there is a picture in the link that shows the 2 different tail housings (which is also a different output shaft) between the 4wd and 2wd trans... -

08 6.4l f-250 king ranch heater core swap
Does a leaky core give off a funky smell when heat/act is on? I have a sort of chemical smell when the blower is on and noticed the condensate running from the drain is a milky white. Only thing I could figure is that is the white powder left after the coolant dries. Can't decide what to do... -

odd smell from heater/AC
Looking for some direction here with a issue ive been having with a smell in the cab. Noticed it earlier this year when first started using the AC in the summer. It is NOT a musty old sock smell it is more of an oily chemical smell, not burnt oil. At first I thought it may be a refrigerant leak... -

Hard starting (kinda)
Did you check the draw down on the batteries during cranking and all the connections? Starter? Also I would pull the belt and check that all the pulleys move as they should. -

Battery Relocation
I am also still wondering why his batteries are so short lived and how he is controlling/monitoring the GP relay. Ive seen where guys run a lite to the dash from the relay to indicate when they shut off.- TjMiller
