I had 2 straight days off weds and thurs so I got a lot done.
I pulled the engine compartment harness out of the excursion and put it on the bench next to the f250 harness. Set up a fan, a cooler, and some music and rocked out integrating the 2 harnesses into one. It took about 6 hours on...
Donor truck was a zero option f250 2wd 6 speed. It went into a fully loaded excursion 4wd auto. There would be a lot of wiring one way or another so i opted to change the engine harness since I could remove it in 30 minutes.
I ended up putting the excursion harness on the workbench along...
It might work, what was your power options list? how much of the harness from the whole truck do you have? Shoot me an offer in a PM if you'd like, Thanks!
OK, then I think I need a 99-01, loaded, auto, 4x4, 7.3L, dash harness with a matching engine compartment harness. If its for a truck or excursion thats fine, I'll make it work.
So like it says, I have a 6 pos TS chip for my 7.3 6 speed, but i'm moving it to a 7.3 4r100 combo. I really was looking forward to trying PHP but they just announced they will no longer re-burn the chips. I'm just too frugal to chuck the chip in the trash and buy another one.
Is anyone else...
Been busy with work/school/family/rebuilding the bathroom, but I finished up the trans. I'd bet it will shift fine, but I wouldn't bet a whole lot lol. I pulled the v10 (let me know if you need one) and started on the engine and wiring. I have lots of pics but the memory card I have crashed...
I'm going through my E99 motor a bit before I re-install it and I found the EBP plug on the pedestal unplugged. Some history: The blow off valve also had the vac line to it unplugged when I got it but I plugged it back in, and I had the up pipes leaking and possibly the intake leaking the whole...
The second side went a lot faster, i just torched the u-bolts off, lol. It wasnt a problem getting the nuts off the bolts. The problem was getting the rear bolts out of the shackles. They were just totally stuck in there. It sucked. I torched them too and just left the shank of the bolts in...
Well, I just buttoned it up with a brand new set of Gabriel max control shocks. Rides like a caddy, I love it. I took it down one of the nearby really ****ty roads and it blew right through the bumps. I hung a couple corners and it stays upright and composed.
I bought it with 6" skyjacker...
I pulled these new springs off my pickup before I parted it out and the pickup has so much more room. I couldn't get my impac on the u bolts on the ex cause the body is in the way
I thought I'd share how much fun it is swapping some c code springs onto my Ex. I started with the rear passenger and broke off both the a/c line bolts. Then I had to heat up all 4 U bolts. Then the rear shackle bolt had to be torched. I only expected to get one done this evening but damn...
Hi guys, I'm swapping an E99 truck 7.3 into a 2000 v10 excursion. I thinking it will be quicker and easier to make my 7.3 a stand alone harness and connect it to the chassis as needed for gauges.
This is pretty much what you common rail swap guys do? I'm thinking I should open up the...
I'm hoping someone has a great condition 17* HPOP they are sending in as a core that they would trade for my 15* off my E99. I'm not sure this is doable but I thought I'd try. I'd pay shipping, thanks
Could you help with an aircheck question? In this picture:
if i blow air in the black arrows' hole it comes out the red rainbow arrows' hole. If I blow air in the blue arrows' hole it leaks down slowly. The OD and L/R holes seem to hold air till I let it out but these ones leak down. Is...
