Hydroboost issue?
Anyone have to replace a hydroboost unit because it was causing the brakes to drag? Mine will just about bring the truck to a stop dragging so hard, then you hear a couple of pops out of the dash and the drag dissipates and the truck rolls free. According to Identifix, the average mileage... -
A/c help
man.. talk about a shade tree fix.. Yeah. I agree with Dan. The previous owner had a control circuit problem, and cheaped it out by wiring the toggle switch in. Seemed like a good idea, but you can ice up an evaporator in a heartbeat with no low pressure cut-out. -

check the S-wire on the starter.. see if it's shorted to voltage -

Intermittent vibration at high speed
Guys.. I don't think he has death wobble.. Sounds to me like he has a worn out driveshaft yoke and the shaft is flopping around... essentially throwing itself out of balance -

No. You can get it so tight it won't go over center, but unless you INTENTIONALLY over ream it, you won't bust it. But by the time it's needs adjustment, it's got the gears worn to the point all you are doing is jamming two worn parts together.. I think what guys do is keep jamming, and... -

1. does the Wait To Start light come on? 2. can you hear the glow plug relay click on & cycle off? Not saying injectors COULDN'T be bad, but it's not likely given the time of year. -

nope. Most likely the relays in the underhood PDC.. NAPA #AR606 replace all three of them (power, delay, wash/wipe) don't ask how I know this..
